You may be familiar with various brands of sport energy drinks containing electrolytes: Powerade, Gatorade etc. They seem a good deal to you right?
We all witness different athletes on TV drinking these kinds of neon-colored liquids from their bottles and you wonder they must have some kind of use and a benefit. Well, they do. In the moments of heavy exercises our body has increased need for electrolytes in order to keep its balance.
But if you take a better look and get to know the real truth behind these relatively expensive drinks, you will be able to see that you’re actually paying for ordinary sugar water with bright color. It’s good to know that is not really a wise idea to drink such overloaded liquids with refined sweeteners (in most of the cases contains syrup made of high fructose corn).
Your health has no benefits at all from so called artificial colors and flavors, so the whole idea of buying these energy drinks is pretty much ingesting things that are “fake”.
Advertising companies through their commercials really made us believe that we need these sport energy drinks so that we can recover from heavy exercises. Just to clarify one thing, its not the same as some ordinary working out routine and a hardcore workout for hours of real athletes.
Another thing is that our body is designed to be smart, in order to keep the right balance of electrolytes in our body all we have to do is to eat healthy and stay well hydrated. In cases when you do have some kind of heavy working out hours we can show you how to make your own sport energy drink. It’s made quick, its pretty easy and above all naturally refreshing.
Why do you need these: because they all considered containing naturally high levels of electrolytes that your body needs in cases of extra workout.
