These days, people eat a lot of bad food, don’t drink the right amounts of water, and don’t get enough sleep. That’s a very good way to get fatigue and grogginess. To avoid an afternoon nap, people drink energy drinks like Red Bull. But do you know that Red Bull increases the risk of getting a heart attack and or stroke?
After drinking a can of Red Bull, your blood is the same as a person suffering a cardiovascular disease. They might say that consuming an energy drink is the same as drinking coffee or soda, and you might get the same amounts of energy you obtain with drinking coffee or soda, but the difference is that we don’t know what all the components in a can of Red Bull are. We also don’t know what those components do to our bodies.
As always, one Major component is aspartham, which has proven to be neurotoxic, allergenic, and carcinogenic. combine that with some other components and you have a good way to getting a cycle of continuous energy drink consumption that can be deadly.
“No less than 3.5 billion cans of Red Bull sold last year in 143 countries. However, the questions have to do with the safety of Red Bull and other energy drinks, keep cropping up one after the other, when another dedicated energy addict keels over, “says Dr. Mercola.
Energy drinks have started to sell more than bottled water.
Who is at most risk? If you suffer any of the following, absolutely do NOT drink Red Bull:
• High blood pressure
• High stress
• Caffeine sensitivity
• Blood clotting disorders
• Chronic fatigue
• Any cardiovascular disease.
It’s advised not to drink Red Bull while pregnant too. Instead, attempt to improve your energy naturally. Exercise regularly, eat better food, increase your intake of omega-3 fatty acids and cut out grains and sugars from your diet.
