There are times when our hands and feet begin to swell without cause. We can not avoid thinking about the worst, but these are the possible reasons:
Edema of the limbs is caused by dehydration due to insufficient water in the body.
Our body starts to store the remaining quantity of water, so the water level of the body decreases to a minimum.
Sleeping position and length of sleep
There are poses, in which we sleep comfortably. Few of us know that some may be harmful to our bodies. For example, if we sleep on our stomach or sideways, we cause joint pain. Also, sleep deficiency or sleeplessness can cause swelling of the hands and feet.
High levels of sodium
Too much salt consumption can cause swelling. This increases the levels of sodium in the body, thus allowing our body to retain water. So, it is recommended to reduce your salt consumption.
Kidney disease often contributes to swelling of the hands and feet. Kidneys are the bodies responsible for filtering harmful substances and toxins from the body. If you suffer from kidney disease, your body starts to retain water instead of filtering it.
Cold compresses are recommended. The cold compress is applied, when swelling is a result of an allergy or some internal problem
Who does not want to get a massage? All, we want is to relax and remove the pain on our body.
But remember, carefully massage the painful areas with slow circular movements instead of using pressure.
