But the main question – how to use the water, and at what time! Doctors are advised to follow a few simple rules.

Drink 1-2 cups of water right after waking up. At night our body dehydrates, so it needs back-up liquids.
Before each meal, it is desirable to drink 200 ml. water. This will help speed up metabolism.
Try to make up for every cup of tea or coffee with a glass of water.
Is it right to drink water before and during meals? Doctors disagree. Some believe this is harmful because water dilutes gastric juice. Others say it is contraindicated only for people with low stomach acidity.
During high intensity workouts, it takes every 20 minutes to drink 150 ml of water (the volume of a regular plastic cup).
At night, better to limit the intake of liquids, especially for people with kidney disease.
