55 Countries No Longer Sell Them: Snickers And Mars Chocolate Bars Contain Plastic?!

Mars, the chocolate manufacturer, has announced the withdrawal of some of its products in 55 countries, according to reports.

Other products that have been “affected” by pulling from the shelf are Snickers, Minitaures, Milky Way, MINI Mix… The affected products have a shelf life of up to 06.19.2016 – 01.08.2017.

On 1 August 2016, Mars received a complaint on some red plastic parts that could lead to suffocation were discovered in one of its products.

Mars has issued a recall after plastic parts that could lead to suffocation were discovered in one of their products.

This occurred after it is found that German factory uses plastic in their production process. While the recall was initially confined to Germany and later expanded to the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Italy and Spain.

The German company produces about 10 million chocolate bars and other sweets per day.
