Macchiato, latte, cappuccino, homemade coffee – with so many types of coffee makes you that you can not think of a new kind. But “butter-coffee” is becoming more popular. Double espresso with a thick foam, a spoon of butter and a spoon of coconut oil sounds strange, but it has already spread from America and arrived in the UK.
Recent studies have revealed that the fat is better for us than sugar, especially when it comes to their weight.
“Fatty coffee” can now be purchased at several places in London, and it is easy to make at home. Some fans of the drink even as a substitute for a meal. They argue that the combination of ingredients makes a perfect breakfast in a cup, but it at the same time provides energy, improves concentration, burns calories and keeps the feeling of satiety.
This fatty drink was designed by American entrepreneur Dave Espejo, who was drinking tea with butter, while traveling in Tibet. So he came up with the idea to design a beverage with low carbohydrates and high levels of fat, which, as he says, protects against fatigue and some chronic diseases, and allows the weight loss. Those who drink this beverage in the morning, apparently, remain full until lunch.
“Butter-coffee” is the most important factor of his diet. It is made from organic coffee, unsalted butter (obtained from cows that are grass-fed) and organic coconut oil.
By mixing these ingredients obtained creamy coffee with coconut flavor that stays mouth after drinking.
Many nutritionists have already applied this diet and become its proponents, but at the same time many experts and that it is not clear how it can contribute to weight loss.
