Drink This Tasty Turmeric-Coconut Bedtime Drink For Sleep & Digestion

It’s a mixture that does wonders in terms of bad sleep and indigestion. It is also used for many other health conditions like:

  • Arthritis
  • Heartburn
  • Stomach pain
  • Diarrhea, intestinal gas
  • Jaundice
  • Liver problems

Turmeric is a spice and is a basic spice in curry and other combination of spices. It is quite popular in some countries for better sleep and digestion, taken before bed time.

It is the root of Turmeric that has the healing effect. If you suffer from any of these conditions, than this drink is a solution for your problems.

turmeric milk

You will need:

  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper – it speeds up the absorption of turmeric
  • 1 piece of sliced ginger
  • Honey ( optional)


  • In medium heat, put the pan with mixed ingredients ( no honey in the beginning), it’ s optional and should not be heated
  • Mix in low heat until they start to bubble
  • Turn heat down and simmer for about 5 minutes so the flavors combine well
  • Strain out the ginger
  • Add honey and stir
  • You will get 2 servings, so you can help someone sleep better too

  • 3 Tbsp turmeric
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp powdered ginger
  • Cover the jar and shake to combine
  • To use: Mix 1 teaspoon of the powdered mix with 1 cup of milk
